Sunday! (:

It's another sunday! But Sundays are always joyful days and un-stressful days, another day where you meet your PAPA again in His house with a bigger family. Haha!

Had the worship ministry meeting with the ESC and pastor. Lots of thoughts were running through my mind but thoughts of re-aligning what I've lost and have not kept up to.

Anyway, for those who really want to know what this phrase "Son Morceau De Musique" means, it is actually the french word for "His piece of music". Yeah. Like this phrase a lot because I really want my life to be a sweet & pleasing piece in His sight. (: And it somehow happens to have that "Son" word. Haha! Kinda cool! (:

"Faithful"

There's distance in the air and I cannot make it leave
i wave my arms' round about me and blow with all my might
I cannot sense you close, though I know you're always here
But the comfort of you near is what i long for

[CHORUS]
When I can't feel you, I have learned to reach out just the same
When I can't hear you, I know you still hear everyword I pray
And i want you more than i want to live another day
And as I wait for you maybe I'm made more faithful

All the folly of the past, though I know it is undone
i still feel the guilty one, still trying to make it right
So i whisper soft your name, let it roll around my tounge,
knowing you're the only one who knows me
You know me

[CHORUS]

[BRIDGE]
Show me how I should live this
Show me where I should walk
I count this world as loss to me
You are all I want
You are all I want

Gracie is back to blogging!

Hmm! Yes I am back!

Kinda drew inspiration from Joan to blog again because she blogs everyday! Haha!

Nice Nice song here:

This is the start
This is your heart
This is the day you were born
This is the sun
These are your lungs
This is the day you were born

And I am always yours

These are the scars
Deep in your heart
This is the place you were born
This is the hole
Where most of your soul
Comes ripping out
From the places you’ve been torn

And it is always yours
But I am always yours

Hallelujah!
I’m caving in
Hallelujah!
I’m in love again
Hallelujah!
I’m a wretched man
Hallelujah!
Every breath is a second chance

And it is always yours
And I am always yours

Always by Switchfoot!

I met up with my fellow maid Esther Tay Xinyi AKA Hagrid AKA Ah Yip and we went for a hot date! Haha! Really thank God for such a good buddy, good mate like her though she is leaving for Australia soon...again! But well, glad that things are more or less settled and that she will be moving on to a better and new environment. You go girl! Ah Yok is behind you! (:

I spent some time gazing at the stars today after alighting from the train station while walking home. Felt connected to the Creator once again, standing in awe of what He has done and remembering that I am His beautiful creation. I am just like a small pea compared to the galaxy and the mighty mighty stuff He does!

I bought 2 new CDs! Been contemplating to buy for like a year! Haha! And definitely one of it is Switchfoot's newest album! Hooray! And I bought Brooke Fraser' Albertine! It's really nice and I am super excited when I manage to grab the last copy of it. Kinda expensive though!

I am tired, but just couldn't sleep! Haha! Have not beed sleeping and eating well lately (well, except for today, I had a great dinner eh!).

Oh, kinda excited because Switchfoot is planning their world tour to Asia! Hope Singapore will be one of their stops! Haha!

Break my heart for what breaks Yours

Brooke Fraser's songs kept playing in my head and I really like this particular song, 'Hosanna' because of its bridge.

"Heal my heart and make it clean
Open up my eyes to the things unseen
Show me how to love like You have loved me
Break my heart for what breaks Yours
Everything I am for Your kingdom's cause
As I walk from earth into eternity"

I think what is written here is really something that I want to pray for and I really find these words meaningful. Yeah! (:

Anyway this year's poly serve is really cool because it really reminded me of the fact that I am really saved by the grace of God. I haven't been thinking and appreciating the gospel for a while and it is time that I told myself to revisit it again. Sharing the gospel with much conviction is really really meaningful.

Ok, I hardly blog but I am really tired now. So, goodnights! hahaha! (:

Let me feel a fraction of what You are feeling

I really thank God for an opportunity to be back in Macau again and it really opened my eyes to see much more things I did not see 2 years back when I was here. The question many people always asked was "So how do you feel now, since you are back again?" My reply was always "Macau is quite different now". Yes, I really mean it is! Cotai strip and Venetian Macau wasn't even here when I came 2 years back. Now look at how many casinos and expensive hotels being built, its really A LOT!
On 20 July when we reached, we visited a missionary called Ms Chen and her center which mainly focus on high school students ministry especially during lunch time (because they have really long breaks and they can come into the center to surf net. Kind of cool huh!). And we took a picture with her and got to know more about the challenges she faces. Then, we visited this organisation (which is runned by Andrew's parents) called "中信" (Macau) or something like that which does counselling and training as their core ministry. I really thank God for such good parents (Andrew's parents) who are so willing to leave their comfort zone to come to this country to serve Him-Heard that Andrew was actually born in Hongkong and not Macau. After that, we had dinner which is like super good and visited 2 Casinos (Grand Lisboa and Wynn), and passed by Hotel Lisboa which is really disturbing because of the prostitution going on in that Hotel. The funny thing is Hotel Lisboa isn't a low grade kind of hotel (not like Hotel 81 in Singapore context) but its like a really nice hotel. You can see basically any kind of girls just sitting there dressing skimpily waiting for 'business'. That was really disturbing, but before that we actually saw brochures of prostitutes and hotlines for people to call to engage one while we were crossing the road (given by aunties which look like they do have children that are around that age, old enough to be prostitutes), you get what I mean?Yeah, and it was really disturbing. But, this is what gambling will lead to, prostitution, extortion of money and even gambling addiction. So it really isn't cool to have casinos in your country. Wait till you see what I see!

Chi To Church in Macau

Taken at Grand Lisboa, one of Stanley Ho's casino (a real big one!)

21 July:

Visited Chinese Christian Church and 邓传道. This will be my 2nd hosting church because I am supposed to be there on sunday to share my testimony of why I came to Macau and mainly why I want to do Evangelism. I really hope that whatever I share will really bless the church and to address the need why Christians should evangelise. The thing about this church is that they are located very near to the border and there are mainly chinese immigrants from China.
We visited Operation Mobilisation (OM) too and its really a good good experience. I really felt that indeed the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Its really a good time spent there too and I just felt God's calling so strong. And I am seriously praying about it and talking to others to affirm it. (:
Alright thats all for these 2 days first. I will post more later!

Greetings from Hongkong

Hello all! This is an entry from Hongkong! Haha. The team arrived in Hongkong at 2pm and guess what? I was kind of stuck with a team mate at the customs because we declared that we had cough and flu respectively (so we were asked to go down to a corner for a health check-which was like only temperature taking). But shortly after we managed to clear customs.

Oh the cool thing was that we are on a Airbus A380! And we didn't know. Haha cos we expect it to be...much bigger. I suffered about an hour plus of turbulence on the plane, which made me really sick (even till now) and you just feel like puking but its over. Haha.

We settled down in Chinese University of Hongkong (CUHK) and were given a little free time (that's why I am blogging) so really thank God for the safe journey and place that we are staying in. Oh, internet is free here so I guess I will probably come online every night or wherever possible. Hope I will be able to go online too when I am in Macau!

And and and, I am rooming with this Taiwanese girl from Presbyterian Church in Taiwan (PCT). Kind of fun and exciting. Haha. Alrights! Will blog again later in the night. (:
